This gives you a unique opportunity to sail from one cruise area to another as the ship repositions, giving you the chance to sample a wide variety of ports of call on the way.
In Autumn, you can voyage from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean or South America, taking in some ports of call from each cruise area and some others along the way. In Spring, do it in reverse, see some of South America and the Caribbean before sailing back across the Atlantic in time for some Mediterranean ports of call. These voyages can take anything from 15 to 23 nights.
Or, for something different, you could join Costa Europa or Costa Romantica as they relocate to Dubai for the Winter from Savona in Italy, or why not join them on their return next Spring?
